Padi was the son of the famous German bull, Portikus, who was a top rated bull in Germany during the 1970's.
He is very unique in that he was a planned mating for the Austrian A.I. Unit, and they consented to make him
available to Western Breeders Ltd. to assist in the promotion of the Fleckvieh breed in North America.
